Genius Business Solutions Inc. (GBSI) is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design and build AI-driven search and automation systems.

You’ll work across the stack—from backend services and data pipelines to AI-powered retrieval and agent orchestration—to deliver production-grade solutions. Join a team delivering scalable solutions using Java (Spring Boot), Python, React, Elasticsearch, and Azure AI Search.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Python and Java (Spring Boot).
• Experience with React.js front-ends.
• Deep Elasticsearch expertise: index design, aggregations, query DSL.
• Experience with Azure AI Search: semantic and vector search.
• Practical experience building RAG systems with embeddings and LLMs.
• Experience with Claude agents/Claude Skills for automation.
• Strong PostgreSQL schema design and queries.
• Good API design knowledge (REST/GraphQL).
• Cloud experience (Azure preferred).
• Familiarity with containerized deployments like Kubernetes is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java (Spring Boot) and Python.
• Build and enhance React.js front-end applications with responsive UI.
• Architect and optimize search solutions with Elasticsearch and Azure AI Search.
• Implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation pipelines powering intelligent search and Q&A.
• Design and deploy Claude-based agents and Claude Skills for automation.
• Develop data models and queries in PostgreSQL for efficient access.
• Collaborate with product, data, and DevOps to translate requirements.
• Maintain code quality, testing, security, and CI/CD across systems.
• Monitor and optimize performance in production environments.
