Job summary

CareSource is seeking an experienced Data Scientist IV to lead the design, development, and deployment of advanced analytics, ML, and AI solutions in healthcare operations. You will mentor data scientists, set technical standards, and contribute hands-on to innovative AI initiatives across enterprise platforms.

The role emphasizes predictive modeling, NLP, generative AI, and RAG capabilities, with strong governance, HIPAA compliance, and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• Eight (8) years of experience in predictive analytics or data science, preferably in healthcare.
• Three (3) years of technical leadership or mentoring experience.
• One (1) year of cloud services experience (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and modern data stack (Databricks or Snowflake).
• Three (3) years of experience delivering LLM/generative AI solutions from prototype to production.

Responsibilities

• Lead operationalization of AI/ML solutions from prototype to production.
• Establish standards, reviews, and reusable frameworks for AI/ML/analytics.
• Stay current on LLMs, NLP, generative AI, and healthcare informatics.
• Design, develop, and oversee predictive modeling and ML using healthcare datasets.
• Perform data cleansing, feature engineering, and exploratory analysis.
• Govern AI solutions using MLOps/LLMOps practices and ensure governance.
