Job summary

CrowdStrike is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to design, deploy, and scale AI systems that analyze millions of security events per second. You will own AI/ML architecture, from data pipelines to model serving, focusing on anomaly detection, ranking, and automated security reasoning.

Lead cross-functional initiatives with product, engineering, and security teams while mentoring junior scientists and advancing AI-first security operations.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience building and scaling large-scale AI/ML and security analytics.
• Deep expertise in semantic retrieval, vector search, ranking and NLP/LLMs.
• Experience leading cross-functional initiatives and influencing executives.
• Strong programming skills in Python, Go, SQL; production ML experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture for large-scale retrieval, ranking, vector search and anomaly detection.
• Own end-to-end AI/ML stack: data pipelines, models, deployment, monitoring and MLOps.
• Define evaluation methodologies and success metrics, align with product and security teams.
• Mentor junior scientists and drive technical excellence across teams.
