Job summary

Amazon Science in Seattle is seeking a Sr. Applied Scientist to lead AI-powered automation within Advertising Services.

You will own the research and development of ML systems that improve self-service advertiser experiences and power autonomous workflow agents. The role focuses on translating research into scalable products, measuring impact in operational efficiency and advertiser satisfaction, and collaborating with teams across AI, data, and product.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of building machine learning models for business application experience.
• PhD, or Master's degree and 6+ years of applied research experience.
• Experience programming in Java, C++, Python or related language.
• Experience with neural deep learning methods and machine learning.

Responsibilities

• Lead research and development of ML systems for self-service advertiser experiences.
• Own end-to-end ML projects from data collection to deployment.
• Translate insights into measurable improvements in ad services.
