Job summary

d-Matrix is seeking a Senior to Staff Runtime Systems Engineer to design and implement runtime firmware and software for our AI compute platform. You will work on multi-core SoC, drivers, and systems software, ensuring performance and reliability while collaborating with hardware and software teams.

Ideal candidates have a BE/CE with 5+ years in embedded software, experience with Linux, containers, VMs, and proficiency in C/C++. Hybrid work at our Santa Clara headquarters is available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in computer engineering or electrical engineering with a minimum of 5 years of industry experience in embedded software development.
• Worked with containers and VMs
• Experience with Linux system-level programming
• Strong knowledge in Linux device driver
• Proficiency in C/C++
• Experience working with python is desired

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and develop systems software for AI inference infrastructure
• Identify, analyze, architect, develop and debug systems software
• Experience in distributed and scale-out application
• Deliver quality code; debug complex problems
