Scale AI is seeking a part-time Research Advisor for the Human Frontier Collective (HFC) to apply academic and professional expertise in strategy, design, evaluation, and interpretation of frontier AI systems.

You will collaborate across Scale AI's product, research, delivery, and GTM teams to shape roadmaps, convene executive engagements, and contribute to high-impact publications and technical content. A flexible, contract arrangement supports 5–20 hours per week.

Qualifikationen

• Ideal backgrounds include finance, legal, medical with 5+ years of industry experience.
• Educational background includes bachelor’s, master’s, PhD, MD/DO, or JD degree with clinical/legal/financial practice experience.
• Demonstrated research experience and hands-on experience with AI tools and technologies.

• Senior Advisory & Model Governance: provide elite-level consultancy on model behavior and domain-specific logic.
• High-Impact Research Collaboration: influence the technical roadmap by partnering with Scale AI’s teams to design tasks translating expert intuition into computable frameworks.
• Executive Client Engagement: represent Scale AI and the HFC as a Subject Matter Expert during sales cycles, executive meetings, and conferences.
• Visionary Creation: create premier technical content and GTM assets to position Scale as a leader in the industry.
• Publications: co-author technical reports and research papers to boost academic visibility.
• HFC Community: become a foundational member of HFC with access to a network of AI researchers.
