Stellent IT LLC in Jersey City, NJ seeks a QA Engineer/SDET II to test AI-powered applications, generative AI, and agentic AI systems. You will design and execute quality activities, develop automation with Python, PyTest, and Playwright, validate APIs, and support CI/CD across AI and traditional platforms.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in software QA or SDET in Agile, strong Python/PyTest/Pandas, and 6+ years of UI automation with Playwright or Selenium.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in software quality engineering or SDET in Agile.
• Strong Python, Pytest, Pandas and OOP skills.
• 6+ years UI automation with Playwright or Selenium.

Responsabilités

• Design and execute functional, integration, system, regression, and automation tests.
• Apply shift-left practices by reviewing requirements and early test definition.
• Build and maintain UI automation frameworks using Python, PyTest, and Playwright.
• Perform manual and automated API testing of REST/microservices.
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and DevOps to ensure quality.
• Validate data using SQL/NoSQL databases and support CI/CD pipelines.
• Create test plans, data strategies, and quality metrics dashboards.
• Manage defects and report quality risks clearly.
• Develop AI test datasets, benchmarks, and evaluation frameworks.
• Experience with performance/load testing using JMeter or similar.
• Knowledge of AI observability, model monitoring, and evaluation platforms.
• Experience with monitoring tools like New Relic, Datadog, Splunk, or CloudWatch.
