Job summary

7-Eleven is seeking a Senior Product Manager to elevate customer, store, franchisee, and enterprise experiences through AI-powered products and intelligent workflows. You will lead strategy, roadmap, and execution across automation, decision support, personalization, and agentic AI solutions.

The ideal candidate blends product fundamentals with technical fluency in APIs, cloud services, and AI tech, with familiarity in AI/ML concepts and generative AI. This is an onsite role based in Irving, TX.

Qualifications

• Experience working with software engineering teams building APIs, microservices, cloud-native applications, or distributed systems.
• Familiarity with modern architecture patterns including REST APIs, event-driven systems, microservices, and platform integrations.
• Exposure to AI/ML, Generative AI, LLMs, copilots, conversational AI, or intelligent automation solutions will be a plus.
• Experience partnering with engineering, architecture, data engineering, or data science teams.
• Ability to understand technical design discussions and make informed product tradeoff decisions.
• Retail, convenience, e-commerce, or digital platform experience is a plus.
• Position is onsite and based in Irving TX.

Responsibilities

• Identify AI and automation opportunities to drive business value.
• Prioritize AI use cases with engineering and data teams.
• Define success metrics for adoption and efficiency.
• Translate trends in Generative AI into strategies.
• Define product requirements involving APIs, microservices, and AI platforms.
• Discuss system capabilities, scalability, and dependencies.
• Translate business needs into technical requirements and user stories.
• Evaluate AI model performance and operational metrics.
• Collaborate with user research to validate assumptions.
• Support pilots, MVPs, and rapid experimentation.
• Foster collaboration and advocate for end users.
• Bridge between stakeholders, engineering, data teams and AI practitioners.
• Communicate complex AI concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Establish best practices for responsible AI and governance.
