Job summary

RK Industries is seeking a Senior AI Product Manager / Agent Builder to lead enterprise AI agents from opportunity to measurable business value. You will translate operational needs into scalable AI products, work with business leaders and frontline users, redesign workflows, and drive adoption of AI solutions across RK Mechanical and beyond.

Location: Aurora, Colorado with a hybrid model (roughly three days in the office) and periodic visits to RK offices and project sites.

Qualifications

• 5–8+ years of product-management experience in software, data, AI, enterprise SaaS, or related tech environments.
• 2+ years of meaningful AI, generative AI, or AI Agent product experience.
• Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Foundry / Azure AI Foundry.
• Hands‑on experience with Copilot Studio and practical understanding of Microsoft 365 Copilot.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Fabric.

Responsibilities

• Discover high-value AI opportunities by working directly with business users.
• Own AI Agents end-to-end: problem → product → prototype → evaluation → production → adoption → value.
• Build and iterate agents using Microsoft Foundry / Azure AI Foundry, Copilot Studio, Microsoft 365 Copilot, and Microsoft Fabric.
• Design enterprise RAG, grounding, tools, integrations, and human-in-the-loop workflows.
• Personally create rapid prototypes, lightweight coded agents, integrations, and evaluation harnesses.
• Use AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Codex, and comparable coding assistants.
• Define evaluation datasets, acceptance thresholds, and production-quality standards.
• Partner with Engineering, Architecture, Data, Security, Responsible AI, MLOps/LLMOps, Change Management, and external AI development partners.
• Measure adoption and prove business value through revenue generation, time savings, cost avoidance, cycle-time reduction, quality improvement, or risk reduction.

About the Opportunity

RK Industries is building an enterprise AI Agent capability using Microsoft AI technologies, and we’re looking for a Senior AI Product Manager / Agent Builder to help lead the journey.

This is a unique product leader + hands-on builder role for someone who can translate operational needs into scalable AI products that deliver measurable business value.

You’ll own enterprise AI Agents from business opportunity through prototype, production, adoption, and measurable business value —starting with RK Mechanical and expanding across RK as our AI capability grows.

About the Role

You are first and foremost an AI Product Manager. You’ll work directly with business leaders and frontline users to understand how work gets done, redesign workflows, define the right AI solution, establish evaluation and human-in-the-loop controls, and drive adoption and measurable outcomes.

• As RK builds dedicated AI/Agent Engineering capacity, production engineering will progressively transition to those specialists. You’ll continue to own the product, agent behavior, evaluation quality, adoption, and business value.

We’re looking for a Product Manager who can build and not necessarily a full-time software engineer.

What We’re Looking For

• 5–8+ years of product-management experience in software, data, AI, enterprise SaaS, or related technology environments.
• 2+ years of meaningful AI, generative AI, or AI Agent product experience.
• Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Foundry / Azure AI Foundry.
• Hands‑on experience with Copilot Studio and practical understanding of Microsoft 365 Copilot.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Fabric.
• Strong understanding of enterprise RAG, grounding, retrieval, and evaluation.
• Experience defining evaluation datasets, acceptance thresholds, and human‑in‑the‑loop controls.
• Hands‑on prototyping experience using GitHub Copilot, Codex, or comparable AI coding tools.
• Strong product discovery, workflow mapping, roadmap, backlog, adoption, and business‑value skills.
• Ability to work comfortably with executives, frontline users, engineers, architects, data teams, security teams, and vendors.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in construction, MEP, specialty contracting, industrial operations, manufacturing, or related domains is a plus.
