Oyster is hiring a senior AI engineer to own end-to-end improvements of Oyster AI, partnering with product teams to ship LLM-powered features. You will design tool contracts, improve retrieval pipelines, and ensure safe, cost-effective deployments in production.

Aufgaben

• Own end-to-end AI improvements across Oyster AI, from problem definition to rollout and learning from production.
• Design clear tool contracts, robust error handling, and bounded execution with appropriate human oversight.
• Drive knowledge access improvements through retrieval, embedding, indexing, and freshness strategies.
• Build evaluation loops with datasets, experiments, and automated judges aligned to human judgment.
• Diagnose and fix root causes across prompts, retrieval, tools, models, and infra in production.
• Mentor teams and drive reusable AI patterns across multiple product squads.
