CMH Health is seeking a Senior Technical Lead - AI Product Engineering to shape the technical direction of AI-enabled healthcare software in the United States. You will own delivery across key streams, guide architecture, and balance reliability, security, and performance while mentoring engineers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 6+ years in software engineering, data-intensive systems or platform engineering.
• 2+ years in a technical lead or staff engineer role with delivery ownership.
• Hands-on production software engineering skills to inspect, debug, and improve.
• Experience designing and operating cloud-based systems on Azure or similar.
• Strong SQL, data modeling, APIs, and cross-system integration.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools and governance.
• Proven ability to lead technical initiatives and manage dependencies.
• Strong written and verbal communication; mentoring ability.
• Willingness to learn healthcare and actuarial workflows.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Define pragmatic architectures, including service boundaries, APIs, data models, and system integrations.
• Explain trade-offs and select effective solutions meeting requirements.
• Translate business needs into technical plans with product owners and domain experts.
• Own technical delivery commitments and communicate risks related to scope and timelines.
• Strengthen automated testing, data-quality controls, and AI evaluation practices.
• Ensure releases have evidence-based validation of end-to-end workflows.
• Improve production readiness with deployment, monitoring, and rollback practices.
• Investigate production issues and implement targeted improvements.
• Mentor engineers and delegate meaningful technical ownership.
• Collaborate with consultants and users to support rollout and adoption.
• Partner with domain authorities to meet quality and risk standards.
