Job summary

Senpilot is hiring a senior engineer to build and own AI-powered product features end to end, from schema design through production shipping. You’ll leverage AI coding tools to move fast while maintaining high quality.

This is an AI-native role where the impact is measured by how you ship and iterate on real usage. You will work across backend, data, and frontend, collaborating with product managers, designers, engineers, and customers to deliver scalable features.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience building and shipping production software.
• Experience as an AI-native engineer delivering production-ready output.
• Strong database modeling and schema design instincts.
• Understanding of modern cloud infrastructure.
• Exposure to Kubernetes is a plus.
• Proficiency in TypeScript, Python, Go, or similar languages.
• Ownership across backend, data, and frontend.

Responsibilities

• Own features end to end: scope, design, build, ship, measure, iterate.
• Design pragmatic data models and schemas for scale.
• Use AI coding tools as a core workflow to ship faster with quality.
• Translate complex product challenges into concrete technical plans.
• Raise the bar on code quality.
• Collaborate with product, design, engineering, and customers to improve products.
