Job summary

Senpilot Inc. in New York seeks a senior engineer to build and own AI-powered product features end to end, from schema design through shipping in production, using AI coding tools like Claude and Cursor to move fast while preserving quality across a TypeScript, Python, Node.js stack.

You’ll own backend, data, and frontend, collaborate with product managers, designers and customers, and translate complex challenges into concrete, shippable plans.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience building production software.
• Experience as AI-native engineer delivering production-ready output.
• Fluency in modern languages: TypeScript, Python, Go, or similar.
• Fullstack ownership across backend, data, and frontend.
• Strong communication and collaborative approach to code review and design.

Responsibilities

• Own features end to end: scope, design, build, ship, measure, and iterate.
• Design pragmatic data models and database schemas that hold up as the product grows.
• Use AI coding tools as a core part of your workflow to ship more, faster, without dropping quality.
• Turn complex product challenges into concrete, shippable technical plans.
• Raise the bar on code quality.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, engineers and customers to create and improve our products.
