Job summary

Teradata Corporation (SE) seeks a Senior Manager – AI Platform to lead development of the next-generation platform powering autonomous, AI-driven agents. You will guide a multidisciplinary team, shape product and data science strategy, and ensure performance, extensibility, and production-readiness across the platform.

You will drive cross-functional collaboration with product, research, and engineering teams, overseeing API gateways, vector stores, RAG pipelines, and experimentation frameworks

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in software/platform engineering or data science.
• 3+ years in engineering management or technical leadership roles overseeing AI initiatives.
• Proven experience building and scaling distributed systems or cloud platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead the engineering and data science roadmap for the AI Platform.
• Partner with product, data science, research, and engineering teams to define capabilities like planning and multi-agent collaboration.
• Drive design and implementation of core platform services including API gateways and data pipelines.
• Oversee integrations with third-party tools and internal data science services at scale.
• Guide the team in cloud-native development, observability, and security.
• Manage and grow a high-performing team of engineers and data scientists.
• Ensure alignment between platform capabilities and evolving AI product needs.
• Drive technical excellence through code reviews and reliability practices.
• Contribute to long-term vision of agentic workflows powered by data science.
