Job summary

Cribl is hiring a software engineer to join a remote-first team shaping the future of observability data. You will architect and deliver AI-powered integrations across Cribl's products, collaborating with design and product partners to prototype new features and iterate quickly.

You will work with cutting-edge AI tech, stay current with industry trends, and help scale front-end UIs and backend services. A strong foundation in TypeScript/JavaScript and a backend language is essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience building AI features end to end in production
• Proven fullstack experience, including designing and scaling React-based UIs and backend services/APIs
• Deep expertise in TypeScript or JavaScript with backend language experience such as Node.js, Go, or Java
• Experience with AI agent-driven product experiences, including tooling calls, RAG, prompts, evaluation or guardrails
• Experience with Model Context Protocols and external tools integration in LLM-based systems
• Machine learning experience, ideally deployed or operated in production environments
• Familiarity with databases, APIs, observability, and production data tools

Responsibilities

• Productionize, launch, and operate AI-based technology integrations into Cribl's core products
• Partner with product & design to prototype and experiment with new AI features
