Job summary

Momentum Engineering, Inc. is seeking a senior software engineer to integrate AI-enabled capabilities into analyst workflows and mission systems to accelerate cyber data triage and decision support.

The role requires building AI/ML models, working in secure government environments, and aligning with cloud ecosystems such as Microsoft Azure and AWS. Applicants should have a TS/SCI clearance and a strong background in Python, APIs, and data security.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with NSA Full Scope Polygraph.
• Bachelor's degree in CS, Cybersecurity, Info Systems, or related field and 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience with AI/ML, model training/evaluation/tuning, and performance measurement.
• Proficiency in Python and developing RESTful APIs/back-end services.
• Experience in government/defense or enterprise environments with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
• Understanding of LLMs, embeddings, RAG, vector search, and agentic workflows.

Responsibilities

• Develop full stack applications and services leveraging LLMs, RAG, and agentic workflows.
• Design, develop, and deploy AI/ML models for data mining and knowledge discovery.
• Integrate AI/ML capabilities into secure, cloud-based data architectures with interoperable APIs.
• Monitor model performance, data drift, and retraining needs in real time.
• Collaborate with data engineers, software developers, and stakeholders to define requirements and deliver mission outputs.
• Ensure compliance with DoD cybersecurity, data privacy, and access control in isolated cloud environments.
• Create tutorials and best practices for AI/ML usage; educate stakeholders on AI platform concepts.
