Job summary

Crusoe is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to shape the architecture and scalability of our managed AI services. You will lead the design and implementation of core systems including fault-tolerant queues, model catalogs, and scheduling optimized for cost and performance, capable of handling millions of API requests per second across thousands of customers.

The team works on the next chapter of products to accelerate adding intelligence into software.

Qualifications

• Advanced CS/engineering degree required.
• 4–5+ years of industry experience leading initiatives across functions.
• Experience with distributed systems and cloud services.
• Familiar with AI infrastructure for training, inference, ETL pipelines.
• Proficient with container runtimes, microservices, REST APIs, gRPC, and CI/CD.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and implementation of core AI services.
• Build resilient queues and model catalogs.
• Architect scalable infrastructure for millions of API requests.
• Collaborate with product, strategy, and other engineering teams.
• Contribute to open-source AI frameworks and prototype new technologies.
