Job summary

ClickUp is seeking a Staff AI Engineer – AI Platform to lead the design and deployment of a scalable AI platform. You will work on back-end systems, model serving, and integration of multiple LLM providers to power ClickUp’s intelligent features.

You will collaborate with product, frontend, and data teams to deliver reliable AI experiences while advancing MLOps, privacy, and security practices across the platform.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience designing and building scalable AI/ML platforms or infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Architect, design, and implement scalable AI platform services that support deployment, orchestration, and lifecycle management of LLMs.
• Apply LLMs and AI models to build features and deliver impactful solutions within ClickUp.
• Build and maintain robust APIs and backend systems for AI-powered features.
• Develop infrastructure for model serving, monitoring, logging, and automated evaluation for reliability.
• Integrate with multiple LLM providers and manage model routing and fallbacks.
• Drive AI privacy, security, and regulatory compliance including data anonymization.
• Optimize platform performance, scalability, and cost with cloud-native tech and distributed systems.
• Collaborate with product, frontend, and data teams to deliver seamless AI experiences.
