Blattner Company seeks a Lead AI Engineer to own the architecture and delivery of a core AI platform, blending prototype work with production-scale development. You will drive LLM applications, agent orchestration, and human-in-the-loop reviews while partnering with product managers and engineers.

Hybrid role (Remote/Travel), with strong emphasis on Azure and Databricks, and integration to Procore, Salesforce, and ERP systems. Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field.
• 8+ years of professional ML/AI engineering experience.
• Experience building production LLM applications and tooling.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end technical architecture and delivery of a core software platform, from prototype through production and long-term enhancement.
• Build production LLM and agentic applications with data retrieval and tool orchestration.
• Integrate AI with enterprise systems (Procore, Salesforce, Bluebeam, ERP/finance).
• Set engineering standards: repo structure, tests, release, observability, cost monitoring, security reviews.
