Job summary

Intercontinental Exchange, Inc. is seeking a Senior Developer to join the AICOE team, driving enterprise AI/ML solutions with Generative AI and LLM integrations across a modern web platform.

The role covers requirements, design, coding, and production support for scalable AI-powered systems. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Sciences, or related field.
• Strong programming skills in JavaScript, Python, Java, or C#.
• Proficiency with React, Angular, Vue.js and back-end frameworks like FastAPI or Node.js.
• Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL is a plus.
• Experience in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).

Responsibilities

• Analyze business and technical requirements and propose robust solutions for delivering AI/ML projects within expected parameters of cost, time, and quality.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications and AI-powered platforms using modern web technologies and LLM integration frameworks.
• Create and manage databases, ensuring data integrity and security.
• Write clean, well-documented, and thoroughly tested code, taking ownership of unit and integration testing.
• Work with project managers to compile a work breakdown structure and provide realistic estimates for tasks.
• Collaborate with Developers and QA Engineers to execute full cycle integration, functional, and regression testing.
• Continuously evaluate and improve system performance and maintainability; propose better technical approaches as the platform evolves.
• Engage with business teams to understand requirements and ensure AI/ML solutions align with enterprise goals.
• Implement user-friendly and responsive front-end interfaces.
• Develop RESTful APIs and integrate AI APIs (e.g., Anthropic, OpenAI, Azure OpenAI).
• Ensure cross-platform optimization for mobile and desktop.
• Maintain code quality, organization, and automation.
• Participate in code reviews and share knowledge with the AICOE team.
• Stay current with Generative AI and LLM landscape and apply best practices.
