Job summary

AHEAD seeks a hands-on Senior Technical Consultant to design and implement enterprise platforms across cloud, data, and AI workloads. You will lead cloud migration, develop scalable platforms, and drive AI-enabled development with governance and security in mind.

You will collaborate with customers, mentor engineers, and build reusable accelerators and reference architectures while delivering high-quality, secure solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience.
• 8+ years of professional IT experience.
• 4+ years in cloud, platform engineering, DevOps, automation, or related areas.
• Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, and/or Google Cloud.
• Experience delivering cloud migration and modernization initiatives (landing zones, migration waves, cutover, validation).
• Experience with CI/CD, containers, Kubernetes, automation, and cloud-native patterns.
• Strong scripting or programming in Python, PowerShell, Bash.
• Experience with AI coding assistants or agentic development tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead customer workshops, technical discovery, architecture discussions and design.
• Design and implement scalable cloud-native platforms for apps, data, infra, and AI workloads.
• Lead cloud migration and modernization assessments, planning, execution, and transition.
• Develop migration strategies, landing zones, roadmaps, and cutover plans.
• Build reusable platform patterns, automation, self-service workflows, and tooling.
• Lead AI-accelerated development initiatives integrating AI tools into lifecycles.
• Drive AI enablement for customers via assessments, pilots, playbooks, governance, adoption roadmaps.
• Review AI-generated code for quality, security, and production readiness.
