Job summary

ActiveCampaign is seeking a Sr AI Engineer - AI Transformation Hub to own core capabilities of our internal AI agent platform, enabling teams to build, deploy, operate, and improve AI agents at scale.

You will design deployment patterns, shared services, and observability frameworks, collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver production-ready solutions and ensure scalable, secure infrastructure.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in software/platform/infrastructure engineering.
• Design and implement production-ready systems across APIs, services, integrations, and data flows.
• Experience with cloud environments and modern deployment patterns.
• Experience building internal platforms, shared services, developer tooling, or reusable foundations.
• Experience with AI-powered applications, agent architectures, or LLM-based workflows.

Responsibilities

• Own the design and evolution of core capabilities within our internal AI agent platform to support high-impact business workflows.
• Define and improve deployment patterns, shared services, and orchestration approaches that enable complex agent use cases to run reliably.
• Partner with business stakeholders to translate high-priority strategic goals into scalable AI agent solutions.
• Work hands-on with builders to debug issues and unblock day-to-day development while improving the platform.
• Build and maintain shared services—reusable modules, integration layers, logging patterns and data access approaches.
• Drive decisions around observability, governance, permissions, reliability, and cost-aware usage.
