Job summary

ActiveCampaign seeks a Sr AI Engineer - AI Transformation Hub to own core AI agent platform capabilities, driving scalable, reliable deployments and cross-team collaboration. You will shape patterns, governance, and observability while partnering with stakeholders to translate business goals into production-ready AI solutions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on software/infra experience.
• Proven ability to design production-ready APIs, services, data flows.
• Experience with cloud environments and modern deployment patterns.
• Experience building internal platforms and shared services.
• Strong system design, reliability, security considerations.
• Practical experience with AI-powered applications and agent architectures.

Responsibilities

• Own the design and evolution of core capabilities within our internal AI agent platform.
• Define and improve deployment patterns, shared services, and orchestration approaches.
• Partner with business stakeholders to translate strategic goals into scalable AI agent solutions.
• Work hands-on with builders to debug issues and unblock development.
• Investigate issues, run code locally, and fix infra problems at the root cause.
• Build and maintain shared services, logging, and data access patterns.
• Drive observability, governance, and cost-aware usage for sustainability and security.
• Set technical direction for new capabilities and durable foundations.
• Collaborate across engineering and business to identify high-value opportunities.
