Job summary

Red Arch Solutions is seeking a senior AI/ML Data Engineer to design and implement enterprise-scale data platforms powering vector search, RAG, and LLM applications. You will lead data ecosystem architecture, governance, and cross-functional delivery across Security, Infrastructure, and Software teams.

The role demands 20+ years of experience, a TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance, and strong communication to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret / SCI with Polygraph clearance required
• Bachelor’s degree in CS/Engineering/Math/Data Science or related field; equivalent experience considered
• 20+ years of progressive software/data/AI platform experience
• Proven track record delivering enterprise-scale AI/ML or Agentic AI solutions
• Experience designing production cloud-native data systems for analytics/AI workloads
• Experience with vector databases, embedding pipelines, and RAG architectures

Responsibilities

• Architect, build, and maintain enterprise-scale data platforms supporting vector databases, semantic search, RAG, Agentic AI systems, and LLM apps
• Establish controls for data quality, lineage, source attribution, prompt/context traceability, explainability, and evaluation of AI outputs
• Lead architectural decision-making for AI-enabled data infrastructure balancing performance, security, reliability, and cost
• Partner with data scientists, ML engineers, architects, cybersecurity, and software engineers to deliver production-grade capabilities
• Translate complex AI concepts into operational impacts, risks, and implementation considerations for leadership
