Job summary

Vanguard is seeking a senior AI Architect to define and lead the architecture for enterprise-scale AI and ML platforms. You will design scalable AI systems, establish standards for deployment, and drive observability and operations across production workloads.

You will mentor engineers, productize AI research, and raise engineering standards while balancing performance, security, and cost at enterprise scale.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in software or ML engineering in production.
• Deep expertise designing, deploying, and supporting large-scale AI/ML systems.
• Proven ability to mentor engineers and lead teams through complex technical and operational challenges.
• Strong knowledge of software architecture, reliability engineering, observability, DevOps, and cloud technologies.
• Experience with foundation models, Large Language Models, and agentic AI architectures.

Responsibilities
