Job summary

Boston Scientific seeks an AI Platform System Administrator III to operate, secure and support enterprise AI environments across cloud, data and AI services. Youll onboard tenants, provision resources and enable AI services in a regulated enterprise.

The role collaborates with AI Platform Engineering, MLOps and Security to maintain reliable, scalable systems. Hybrid work model with in-office requirements; relocation or visa sponsorship are not offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in CS/IT/engineering or related field.
• 4+ years in cloud platform administration, infra ops, DevOps, data platform admin or enterprise platform support.
• Hands-on with at least one major cloud or data platform (AWS, Azure, Snowflake, GCP, Alibaba Cloud).
• Strong understanding of IAM, RBAC, networking, monitoring, logging, secrets management, security controls and cloud operations.
• Experience with automation, scripting, IaC, CI/CD and ITSM tools (Terraform, Python, Bash, PowerShell, SQL, GitLab, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, ServiceNow).
• Ability to operate in regulated enterprise environments with strong governance.

Responsibilities

• Administer enterprise AI platform environments across AWS, Azure, Snowflake, Alibaba Cloud and other approved platforms.
• Onboard tenants, applications and business teams across sandbox, development, test and production environments.
• Provision and manage cloud resources including storage, compute, databases, key vaults, roles and integrations.
• Enable AI/ML and generative AI services (Azure OpenAI, Bedrock, Snowpark, etc.).
• Manage IAM, RBAC, groups, secrets, authentication and identity integrations with least-privilege principles.
• Automate provisioning and IAM, using Terraform, Python, Bash, PowerShell, SQL, etc.
• Support CI/CD pipelines, deployments, monitoring, incidents, change requests and production ops.
• Ensure platform reliability: backups, DR, SLA monitoring and operational readiness.
• Implement cost tagging, tenant cost reporting, usage monitoring and FinOps practices.
• Maintain SOPs, runbooks and compliance documentation.
• Support privacy, security, risk, governance and audit reviews.
