Job summary

Boston Scientific is seeking an AI Platform System Administrator III to operate, secure and support enterprise AI platform environments across cloud, data and AI services. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure scalable, secure and cost‑efficient AI platforms in a regulated enterprise.

The role follows a hybrid work model with presence required in Arden Hills, MN or Marlborough, MA at least three days per week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, information technology, engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum 4 years in cloud platform administration, infrastructure operations, DevOps, data platform administration or enterprise platform support.
• Hands-on with at least one major cloud platform (AWS/Azure/Snowflake/GCP/Alibaba).
• Strong IAM, RBAC, networking, monitoring, security controls and cloud operations.
• Proven experience supporting sandbox, development, test and production environments.
• Automation, scripting, infrastructure as code, CI/CD and IT service management tools (Terraform, Python, Bash, PowerShell, SQL, GitLab, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, ServiceNow).

Responsibilities

• Administer enterprise AI platform environments across AWS, Azure, Snowflake, Alibaba Cloud and others.
• Onboard tenants, apps and business teams across sandbox, development, test and production.
• Provision and manage cloud resources: storage, compute, databases, keys, roles, service accounts and integrations.
• Enable AI/ML and generative AI services (Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI, Bedrock, Snowflake Cortex, Snowpark).
• Maintain IAM, RBAC, secrets, authentication and least-privilege access.
• Automate provisioning and monitoring using Terraform, Python, Bash, PowerShell, SQL, CloudFormation, ARM/Bicep.
• Support CI/CD pipelines, deployments, monitoring, incident triage and ServiceNow.
• Ensure platform reliability: backups, disaster recovery, SLA monitoring, operational readiness.
• Implement FinOps tagging and cost reporting.
• Maintain SOPs, runbooks and compliance documentation.
• Support privacy, security, governance and audit processes.
