Agility Robotics seeks a Senior AI Software Engineer, Perception to own perception algorithms for Digit. You will ensure safe operation as robots move in open floors and dynamic environments.

Mentors and collaborates with teams across navigation, controls, and hardware while driving state-of-the-art perception models from research to production. Hybrid work from Salem, Pittsburgh, or Fremont with competitive rewards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in machine learning/perception for robotics.
• Master's or Ph.D. in AI, robotics or related field required.
• Experience with safety-critical perception systems and ML verification.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy perception algorithms for safety and efficiency.
• Evaluate emerging perception research and determine which to build into robot architecture.
• Promote best practices for model design, testing, and scalability.
• Optimize neural networks and data pipelines for embedded CPU/GPU execution.
• Set verification and validation standards for ML-based perception models.
• Collaborate with navigation, controls, and hardware teams.
