Cribl is seeking a senior software engineer to shape AI feature integrations across Cribl's product suite. You will work with the founding team and skilled engineers to design and deliver AI-powered observability enhancements, including LLM-based surfaces and tool-calling patterns.

This role requires 5+ years in production software, strong React UI and backend services, TypeScript/JavaScript, and experience deploying AI agents in a remote-friendly environment with a competitive salary and

Qualifications

• 5+ years of production software engineering experience.
• Strong React-based UI and backend services design/scaling.
• Experience with TypeScript/JavaScript and at least one backend language (Node.js/Go/Java).
• Experience building AI agent-driven experiences, including tool-calling patterns and RAG concepts.
• Familiarity with data infrastructure, observability, APIs, and external tools in production.

Responsibilities

• Productionize, launch, and operate AI-based integrations into Cribl’s products.
• Collaborate with product and design to prototype and deploy new AI features.
• Stay current with AI tech trends and apply them to Cribl’s telemetry platform.
