Job summary

Cribl is transforming observability data with AI-powered features, delivering integrations that enhance the Cribl product suite. You will partner with founding engineers to design, develop, and ship end-to-end AI capabilities in production, with a focus on reliability and scalability.

You will work on frontend React UIs and robust backend services, leveraging TypeScript/JavaScript and languages like Node.js, Go, or Java.

Qualifications

• 5+ years professional software engineering experience delivering AI features in production.
• Strong fullstack with React UI and backend services or APIs.
• Expertise in TypeScript or JavaScript and at least one backend language (Node.js/Go/Java).
• Experience building AI agent-driven product experiences, including tool-calling, RAG, prompts.
• Familiar with MCPs, orchestration layers and integrating tools/data sources.
• Machine learning experience and production deployment of AI systems.
• Familiarity with databases, observability, APIs in production.
• Strong problem-solving from first principles and clear communication in remote contexts.

Responsibilities

• Productionize, launch, and operate AI-based integrations into Cribl's core products.
• Partner with product & design leaders to prototype and experiment with new AI features.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest AI technologies and trends.
