EY's Office of the CTO invites senior engineers to join the Advanced Forward Engineering team to design, build, and deliver AI-native systems embedded with strategic clients. You will own end-to-end delivery, ensure production-grade quality, and work across platform, architecture, security, and governance partners.

This role emphasizes ownership of ambiguous problems, pragmatic tradeoffs, and trusted deployments in regulated settings, with collaboration across client environments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years delivering complex software in enterprise or regulated environments.
• Hands-on experience with distributed systems and APIs.
• Experience with AI stacks and forward-deployed engineering.
• Proven delivery ownership in real-world conditions.

Responsibilities

• Embed with client teams to frame problems under regulatory constraints.
• Own end-to-end delivery from shaping to sustainment.
• Implement AI-enabled workflows and integrations.
• Write production-grade code aligned with enterprise standards.
• Explain tradeoffs to stakeholders.
• Ensure security, AI integrity and FinOps compliance.
• Capture learnings to improve platform evolution.
• Collaborate with platform, architecture, and security teams.
