Job summary

Juniper Square is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, build, and operate production systems powering our Dex AI-native data warehouse. You will work on data extraction pipelines, MVP agents, and RAG workflows for institutional clients.

You will collaborate with product, design, QA, and staff engineers, driving end-to-end projects and applying AI fluency to improve reliability and velocity. We value ownership and clear communication across a distributed team.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of backend and/or full-stack software engineering.
• Strong Python experience with FastAPI, Flask, Django, or similar.
• Experience with relational/NoSQL databases and data modeling.
• Cloud-native tech: AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and IaC.
• Hands-on AI-native development and AI tool experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and ship production-quality systems and APIs.
• Own projects end-to-end from requirements to deployment.
• Build scalable, observable systems delivering customer value.
• Maintain production health: monitoring, troubleshooting, reliability.
• Collaborate with product, design, QA and cross-functional partners.
• Contribute to AI-native SDLC and code reviews.
