Job summary

Press Ganey Associates LLC seeks a senior software engineer to lead architectural design and delivery of AI-powered, data‑intensive features. You will guide backend services, APIs, and distributed systems across cloud infrastructure, emphasizing reliability, performance, and maintainability.

You will mentor peers, drive development best practices, and collaborate with Product and Engineering leadership to align technical directions with business value.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• Demonstrated ability to architect and deliver scalable systems with minimal oversight.
• Comfortable operating at a Senior Software Engineer level, including mentoring peers, leading system design discussions, and providing technical direction.
• Enthusiasm for learning new technologies and an open mind for evaluating potential solutions.
• Proven ability to balance technical excellence with pragmatic delivery under shifting priorities.

Responsibilities

• Design Software Applications: Lead systems analysis, architectural design, and technology selection for complex features and core platform components.
• Develop and Implement Software Applications: Implement backend services and APIs in Python, Elixir, or Golang following design specifications and internal development standards.
• Support Software Applications: Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues surfaced through observability systems, user reports, or automated monitoring.
