Job summary

Lansweeper NV is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to build and optimize high-scale backend services in Go or Rust. You will work on distributed systems handling large-scale asset data, integrating AI features, and ensuring performance and reliability in an AI-enhanced environment.

The role is hybrid in Austin, TX, with 3 days onsite per week, and involves mentoring peers while shaping engineering standards. Strong experience with AWS/Kubernetes/Terraform and AI-powered tooling is preferred.

Qualifications

• Proven experience building distributed backend services at scale.
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tooling and workflows.
• Strong knowledge of Go or Rust and distributed systems design.

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable backend services and data pipelines for asset discovery, recognition, and enrichment.
• Work on distributed systems problems: concurrency, fault tolerance, high-throughput processing.
• Integrate AI and ML capabilities into product workflows.
• Contribute to architecture decisions and technical standards.
• Use AI-assisted development tools as part of daily workflow.
• Mentor engineers and raise the technical bar.
• Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and continuous improvement.
