Job summary
Tulip is seeking a Senior AI Mobile Engineer to design, build, and ship mobile experiences for frontline teams. You will shape AI-enabled workflows, integrate with enterprise services, and ensure secure, scalable mobile solutions.
You will partner with design, product, and field teams to observe real work patterns and translate them into practical technical designs and end-to-end delivery.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of software engineering with production mobile apps.
- UX-focused development with design/testing with real users.
- Offline-first data capture, sync, and notifications.
- AI-enabled services integrated into end-user apps.
- REST/GraphQL/event-driven APIs consumed and shaped.
- Mobile release, CI/CD, monitoring, and automated testing.
- Backend cloud fluency (Azure/AWS/GCP) with Python.
- OAuth2/OpenID Connect and SSO on devices.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and ship mobile experiences for field and shop teams.
- Replace manual processes with AI-enabled mobile workflows.
- Integrate mobile experiences with Tulip services and enterprise systems.
- Apply secure, maintainable, and observable engineering practices.
- Document and share UI and integration patterns, driving consistency.
- Translate field observations into product decisions with stakeholders.
