Job summary

Peraton in the United States seeks an Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning Advisor to serve as a senior technical authority on the CMS Fraud Prevention Services team, owning the integration architecture for onboarding third‑party agentic AI tools into vendor‑isolated enclaves.

You will define a common data package, per‑vendor integration patterns, and provide hands‑on LLM, RAG, and MLOps expertise to CMS stakeholders, ensuring security, PHI/PII controls, and governance within FPS.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in AI/ML architecture and security governance.
• Hands-on expertise with LLM architectures, LoRA/PEFT, and multi-agent orchestration.
• Experience designing integration architectures for third‑party AI tools in secure enclaves.
• Strong Python/SQL, AWS services, and data tooling knowledge.
• Ability to communicate architectures to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design integration architecture for onboarding third‑party AI tools into vendor‑isolated enclaves.
• Author a common data package specification with schema, sampling, PHI/PII handling, and refresh cadence.
• Define per‑vendor integration patterns for data access, identity federation, audit‑log routing, and tenant isolation.
• Provide hands‑on LLM and agentic‑AI expertise (RAG, fine‑tuning, tool‑use) to Peraton and CMS teams.
• Ensure architectural designs embed security, PHI/PII controls, and governance within FPS.
