Peraton is seeking an AI Solutions Architect to serve as a senior technical authority on the CMS Fraud Prevention Services team. You will own the integration architecture to onboard three external agentic AI vendors into vendor-isolated enclaves within the FPS boundary, developing AI solutions to detect fraud, waste, and abuse.

Responsibilities include designing onboarding architectures, defining data packages, specifying per-vendor integration patterns, and providing hands-on LLM and MLOps

Qualifications

• 8+ years with BS/BA; 6+ years with MS/MA; 3+ years with PhD
• Deep hands-on expertise with LLM architectures and agentic AI systems: fine-tuning (LoRA/PEFT), RAG, prompt engineering
• Ability to work independently in a fast-changing environment
• AI-first mentality to accelerate productivity and software development
• Demonstrated use of AI-driven coding and best practices
• Experience designing integration architectures for third-party AI tools inside secure enclaves
• Experience with Snowflake/Databricks and strong SQL and Python
• Experience deploying AI/ML workloads on AWS
• Solid LLMOps/MLOps: versioning, evaluation, deployment automation
• Familiarity with PHI/PII handling and access-controlled data storage
• Strong written and verbal communication; able to present architectures to stakeholders
• US citizenship; ability to obtain Public Trust clearance

Responsabilités

• Author a common data package specification consumed by vendors
• Define per-vendor integration pattern for data access and audit routing
• Provide hands-on LLM/agentic-AI expertise to Peraton teams and CMS stakeholders
• Ensure architecture embeds security, PHI/PII, and governance controls
