Job summary

Snowflake is seeking an experienced Principal Solutions Architect - AI/ML to design and deliver AI/ML pipelines on the Snowflake Data Cloud. You will work with customers and Systems Integrators to translate requirements into Snowflake-based architectures, and provide technical leadership across the engagement.

The role demands strong communication, hands-on scripting in SQL and Python, and deep knowledge of AI/ML lifecycles, MLOps, and cloud ecosystems.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years experience in a pre-sales or post-sales technical role.
• Outstanding skills presenting to technical and executive audiences.
• Understanding of generative AI lifecycles including document ingestion and vector embeddings.
• Understanding of the ML lifecycle from feature engineering to deployment and management.
• Strong AI/MLOps knowledge, with model and agent deployment/monitoring.
• Experience with at least one public cloud (AWS, Azure or GCP).
• Experience with AI/ML platforms such as SageMaker, Databricks, Vertex AI, AzureML, Dataiku, DataRobot, etc.
• Hands-on scripting in SQL and at least one of Python, Java or Scala.
• Experience with Pandas, PyTorch, TensorFlow, Scikit-Learn, LangChain or similar.
• University degree in relevant field, or equivalent experience

Responsibilities

• Be a technical expert on Snowflake AI/ML workloads and best practices.
• Engage with customers to understand use cases and architect Snowflake-centric solutions.
• Design and deploy AI/ML pipelines using Snowflake features and ecosystem.
• Build POCs with SQL, Python, and Cortex AI features to demonstrate techniques.
• Provide knowledge transfer to enable customers to extend Snowflake capabilities.
• Maintain understanding of competitors and position Snowflake effectively.
• Offer guidance to resolve customer-specific technical challenges.
• Support Services Delivery team in developing capabilities.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing to improve Snowflake products and messaging.
