Job summary

Snowflake is seeking a Sr. Technical Architect, AI/ML to lead technical delivery of AI/ML workloads on Snowflake for enterprise customers.

You will design solutions, deploy ML pipelines, and work hands-on with SQL/Python via Snowflake and ecosystem tools, while enabling customers and coordinating with SI partners. 25% travel required, strong data science and cloud experience preferred.

Qualifications

10+ years in pre-/post-sales technical roles with customers.
Experience presenting to technical and executive audiences.
End-to-end Data Science life-cycle understanding.
Strong MLOps knowledge for deployment and monitoring.
Experience with AWS, Azure or GCP cloud platforms.
Familiar with tools like SageMaker, AzureML, Vertex, Dataiku or DataRobot.
Knowledge of LLMs, Retrieval, and Agentic frameworks.
Hands-on scripting with SQL and Python/Java/Scala.
Experience with Pandas, PyTorch, TensorFlow or SciKit-Learn.
University degree in CS/engineering/math or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

Be a technical expert on Snowflake AI/ML workloads.
Build, deploy ML pipelines using Snowflake and partner tools.
Hands-on with SQL, Python, and APIs to build POC implementations.
Transfer knowledge to enable customers to extend Snowflake capabilities.
Stay aware of competitive technologies and how Snowflake fits.
Collaborate with System Integrators to deploy Snowflake in customer environments.
Provide guidance on resolving customer-specific challenges.
Support Services Delivery teammates to grow their expertise.
Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering and Marketing.
Travel to customer sites up to 25% of the time.
