Job summary

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Senior Scientist, Data Science within the R&D Data, Data Science & AI (DDSAI) organization in Malvern. The role is hands-on, focusing on building and validating AI/ML models to support Therapeutics Development & Supply across CMC, product development, dossiers, and clinical supply.

The ideal candidate has strong quantitative background, data science tooling fluency, and a proven record delivering analytical solutions with real-world impact.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Data Science, Statistics, CS, Engineering, Chemistry or related quantitative field.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience in applied data science, ML, or statistical modeling.
• Proficiency in Python and data science libraries (scikit-learn, pandas, numpy, PyTorch, TensorFlow).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and cross-functional teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Build, test, validate, and iterate on AI/ML models for TDS use cases.
• Develop clean, well-documented analytical code using Python and cloud services.
• Collaborate with domain experts to translate scientific questions into modeling problems.
• Participate in technical reviews and capability-building activities.
