Smartsheet is seeking a Senior Data Scientist II to build ML models and AI sub-agents that drive growth, monetization, efficiency, and retention across the customer lifecycle. You will frame problems, develop models across ML and deep learning, and ship solutions to production for millions of users.

You will work with Product and Engineering in Smartsheet’s Business Intelligence team, designing sub-agents, evaluation harnesses, and deployment strategies while mentoring peers.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a quantitative field with 8+ years experience.
• 8+ years of data science experience; advanced degree preferred.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python; experience with ML/LLM tooling at scale.

Aufgaben

• Design and ship AI sub‑agents across the customer lifecycle.
• Build predictive and prescriptive models for churn risk, growth, adoption, and health scoring.
• Develop data foundations and knowledge layers for sub‑agents to reason over.
• Define metrics and experimentation strategy for sub‑agent rollouts.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Applied AI; mentor team.
