Google LLC’s Cloud AI Research team seeks a Senior AI/ML Research Engineer to bridge cutting-edge models and enterprise-scale products. You will lead rapid pathfinding, design agent state machines, and deploy foundational breakthroughs into real customer solutions.

You will collaborate with product and engineering teams, mentor juniors, and contribute to evaluations and benchmarks for agentic systems in multi-agent settings.

Qualifications

• BS in CS/AI/ML or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years designing ML systems and optimizing infrastructure.
• Experience with autonomous agents or multi-agent workflows.
• Experience with LLMs and multimodal foundation models.
