You will design scalable runtimes and pipelines, collaborate with engineering, data, infrastructure, and security, and own production services from design through deployment. Strong Python and cloud experience are essential for success in this role at Hyatt.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software engineering in cloud environments with AI/ML focus.
• Experience designing and operating shared platforms and developer tools.
• Strong end-to-end system design including APIs and data flows.
• Experience with production AI/ML systems and model serving.
• Ability to own services from design to production.
• Cross-team collaboration across engineering, data, infrastructure, security, and product.

Responsibilities

• Build and operate shared AI/ML platforms used by product teams.
• Deliver scalable runtimes, orchestration, and integration for AI backends.
• Define service boundaries, APIs, data flows, and tradeoffs for reliability and cost.
• Contribute to architecture, Python development, and production problem solving.
• Collaborate with AWS/GCP teams and security to ensure platform reliability.
