Job summary

Hyatt Hotels Corporation in Chicago seeks a Senior ML Engineer to join our Data Science and Machine Learning team. You will design, deploy, and operate scalable AI services in collaboration with data engineering and platform teams.

The ideal candidate has a Master’s degree and 5+ years building ML systems in cloud environments, plus hands-on experience with MLOps pipelines, model deployment, and observability. This role offers growth within Hyatt’s data-driven culture.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in CS, software engineering, ML, or related field.
• 5+ years building ML solutions in cloud environments.
• Hands-on experience delivering end-to-end ML systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement end-to-end ML systems for data ingestion, processing, and serving.
• Deploy scalable AI services for real-time and batch inference.
• Build ML infrastructure across cloud environments (EC2, EKS, SageMaker).
• Develop MLOps pipelines, feature stores, and model observability.
• Implement CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code for ML lifecycle.
• Optimize training and inference for cost and latency.
• Monitor production ML systems for accuracy and reliability.
• Collaborate with data engineering, governance, and security teams.
• Mentor team members on ML engineering and system design.
• Contribute to AI platform maturity initiatives.
