Job summary

Hyatt Hotels Corporation seeks an enthusiastic Sr. AI/ML Engineer to join our Data and Analytics department.

In this role, you will collaborate with the broader Machine Learning and AI team to develop and run AI applications, agents, and models, delivering scalable platforms for internal customers. You will work with AWS and GCP, contribute to architecture and Python development, participate in code reviews, and solve production problems.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software engineering experience in cloud-based environments with a focus on AI/ML
• Experience designing, developing, deploying, and operating shared platforms or developer tools
• Strong end-to-end system design experience for architectures, APIs, and data flows
• Experience building and operating production AI/ML systems including model serving and evaluation
• Independent, accountable for services from design to production
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable solutions
• Master’s degree or equivalent practical experience in a technical field
• Strong Python development skills for production services and APIs
• Experience with AWS and GCP and containerization technologies
• Familiarity with data processing and observability tools

Responsibilities

• The Senior AI/ML Engineer builds and operates shared platforms used by AI product engineering teams.
• Delivers scalable AI/ML platforms, including runtimes, orchestration, and vector search services.
• Contributes to architecture, Python development, code reviews, and production problem solving across AWS and GCP.
