Hyatt Hotels Corporation seeks an enthusiastic Director to join our Data and Analytics department in Chicago. You will lead the strategy and delivery of AI platforms and shared services, partnering with AI/ML teams and enterprise stakeholders to scale production-ready solutions across the organization.

You will directly contribute with architecture, Python development, and hands-on problem solving, while mentoring a team and aligning with Platform and Infrastructure teams to meet enterprise

Competenze

• 10+ years of software engineering experience spanning AI/ML or cloud platform engineering with production systems ownership.
• 3+ years leading engineering teams with hands-on architecture and development involvement.
• Experience designing, delivering, operating, and evolving end-to-end platforms or shared services.
• Experience building production AI systems including evaluation, deployment, observability, and enterprise integration.
• Partnership with Platform, Infrastructure, Security, and product teams to balance needs with enterprise requirements.
• Strong Python development skills and reusable libraries, services, and developer tools.
• Experience with AWS and GCP in production environments.
• Docker, container orchestration, IaC, CI/CD practices.
• Knowledge of agent runtimes, observability, and vector databases is a plus.
