Job summary

JPMorgan Chase is seeking an Applied AI Modeling Senior Associate in Branch Network Modeling to build AI/ML solutions shaping branch strategies. You’ll work with geospatial and graph-based models to guide where to invest, expand, or reposition the physical footprint and enable bankers in the field with advanced analytics.

The role requires 3+ years of hands-on AI/ML experience, expertise in Python DL frameworks, and deep skills in geospatial and network-based optimization.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in a quantitative or spatial discipline such as Computer Science, Statistics, ML, OR, Applied Mathematics, or Geography.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in developing/deploying AI/ML models including reinforcement learning or optimization algorithms.
• Proficient in Python with ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch) and libraries (NumPy, Scikit-Learn, Pandas).
• Deep expertise in geospatial analytics, graph-based optimization, or RL.
• Experience with geospatial tools/libraries and DL/RL libraries is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and launch AI/ML models for Consumer Banking, including network optimization, investment optimization, resource allocation, and sales effectiveness.
• Engage in end-to-end modeling, collaborating with business, governance, UX, and tech teams; work with large datasets to test hypotheses.
• Translate model outputs into actionable recommendations for non-technical partners in Real Estate, Finance, and Market Strategy.
• Partner with governance teams to ensure model reviews, track metrics, and comply with regulatory standards.
