Hewlett Packard Enterprise in Puerto Rico is seeking a Senior AI/ML Engineer to lead initiatives across the Hybrid Cloud portfolio. You will develop and deploy ML models, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and mentor junior staff while driving data-driven improvements.

The role requires deep ML knowledge, strong programming skills in Python/R/Java, and experience with TensorFlow, PyTorch, and cloud infrastructure. A hybrid work arrangement is offered, with office days in Puerto Rico.

Formación

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering, data science, machine learning, artificial intelligence, or closely related quantitative discipline.
• Typically, 4-7 years’ experience.
• Deep understanding of machine learning algorithms such as linear regression, decision trees, SVMs, random forests, deep learning models, and reinforcement learning.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Java; production code development and version control practices.
• Strong knowledge of libraries/frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit‑learn, and Keras.
• Experience with Cloud Infrastructure (AWS, Azure, etc) and Linux; understanding of DevOps and SRE practices.
• Active maintenance of up-to-date AI/ML research and ability to apply state-of-the-art techniques.

Responsabilidades

• Lead initiatives across the Hybrid Cloud portfolio and drive challenging AI/ML projects.
• Develop, optimize, and deploy machine learning models and algorithms in production environments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into scalable AI/ML solutions.
• Mentor junior and mid-level team members and participate in design reviews.
• Present insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders and drive data-driven decisions.
• Ensure models are scalable, secure, and interoperable with existing software systems.
