Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) is hiring an Agentic AI Cloud Development Engineer in Puerto Rico for a hybrid role requiring about 2 days weekly in an HPE office. You will design and operationalize agentic workflows powering Marvis, HPE’s AI-assisted network operations platform, combining data science, GenAI, and production engineering in a cloud-native environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science.
• 2–4 years building production ML/AI systems, with at least 1 year of generative AI/LLM experience.
• Proficient Python in production codebases.
• Experience with Spark, Kafka and data pipelines.
• Hands-on with LangGraph or LangChain and MCP.
• Kubernetes deployments, CI/CD, Docker and container registries.
• Observability through tracing, monitoring and logging tools.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and iterate on agentic workflows using LangGraph.
• Develop MCP servers and skills, tooling schemas and lifecycle management.
• Design data streaming/batch processing with Kafka and Spark.
• Integrate and optimize LLM capabilities at production scale with robust error handling.
• Collaborate with network engineers and product managers to translate problems into agentic workflows.
• Develop data transformation logic in sandboxed environments and orchestrate multi-tool pipelines.
• Deploy and operate containerized services in Kubernetes and contribute to CI/CD pipelines.
• Own observability for agentic workflows including tracing and cost tracking.
