Join UnitedHealth Group’s Optum Tech team to tackle large-scale AI challenges in healthcare. Design, develop, and deploy scalable AI/ML models and automation solutions that address real-world health system needs.

You will build end-to-end ML pipelines, implement MLOps, and collaborate with data science, engineering, product, and business teams to deliver AI-driven solutions while ensuring governance and data integrity across production systems.

Formación

• Bachelor's or Master's in CS, AI, ML, Data Science, Engineering, or related field
• 5+ years in software/AI/ML engineering
• 3+ years building AI/ML solutions incl Generative AI, LLMs, NLP
• 3+ years designing and deploying production-grade LLM apps and RAG pipelines
• 5+ years Python development for AI/data-intensive apps
• 3+ years AWS AI services incl Bedrock, SageMaker, Lambda, OpenSearch, ECS/EKS, S3
• 2+ years vector databases, embeddings, semantic search
• 2+ years MLOps, LLMOps, model monitoring

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and deploy scalable AI/ML models and automation solutions to solve complex business problems
• Build and maintain end-to-end ML pipelines including data ingestion, feature engineering, model training, and deployment
• Develop automation frameworks for model training, testing, validation, and monitoring (MLOps)
• Collaborate with data science, engineering, product, and business teams to deliver AI-driven solutions
• Optimize model performance through continuous evaluation, tuning, and retraining strategies
• Ensure scalability, reliability, and governance of AI models including compliance and data integrity
• Integrate AI/ML solutions into production systems using CI/CD and cloud platforms
• Stay updated with emerging AI/ML technologies and automation best practices to drive innovation
